Sean Rice (‘08) Named UPS Athlete of the Week
Sean Rice (Class of 2008)
Sean Rice earns University of Puget Sounds Athlete of the Week honors after scoring two goals in a 3-2 win over Willamette University and then netting the game-winning goal in overtime in a 2-1 win over Linfield. Rice has five goals and one assist in 2009. Rice was a Boulder High 2007 Co-Captain and All-Conference player. He made to switch from forward/midifelder to right back to help led the Panthers to the second round of the State playoffs. At the collegiate level, Sean transitioned back to forward and is now a top goalscorer for the UPS Loggers. Sean is an exceptionally hard working player and is role model student-athlete for our current and future BHS Panther soccer player.
