For the first time in Boulder High’s history, the Boys Soccer Varsity team is the #1 ranked 5A school in Colorado (Denver Post, Oct 7). After beating Fairview High 1-0 away the Panthers switched spots with previously #1 ranked Cherry Creek. The Panthers are off to their strongest start ever with 11 wins and 0 loses. The varsity boys feature one of the top defenses in the state and a well balance offense.
Boulder High broke into the National Soccer Association of America National Rankings on October 5. The Panthers debuted at #10 in the NSCAA Far West (Region VIII) Top 15. This is the highest recognition in the NSCAA Poll for the Panthers. Boulder’s two previous appearance in the NSCAA Poll was in 2009 and 2008 with a #15 ranking each time.
Boulder will face BVSD rival Monarch on Tuesday, Oct 12. Varsity starts at 7:00PM and JV at 5:00PM at Boulder High’s Recht Stadium.
Senior Recognition Night and the final home game of the regular season is Thursday, October 14 vs. defending State Champions Fort Collins. Varsity starts at 7:00PM. Please join us as we honor our 2011 Seniors.
